St. Austell is a bustling market town and well known for The Eden Project, which is just 2 miles away and now one of the most popular tourist attractions in Cornwall. The area boasts some of the lovliest beaches in Cornwall too and the old harbour town of Charlestown has been the location for many films and TV series in recent years, including Poldark.
